This year, the Japanese students will enjoy a tour of New York City including a visit to the UN, Central Park, Hard Rock Cafe just to name a few
Aside from the Japanese Adventure, J.T.R.C. offers a long term exchange program. The program's duration is one academic year, during which the student lives with more than one family and attends school in the host country. Rotary's Youth Exchange Program is open to young men and women, generally between the ages of 15-19, the sons and daughters of Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike. Applicants are selected by a sponsoring Rotary club on the basis of a written application and a personal interview. This year, about 9,000 young people from Rotary clubs around the country will see the world the way is is best seen- from the inside out- through Rotary's Youth Exchange Program. For information on becoming an exchange student - you may go to the District website -njrotary.org or Rotary District 7470. Contact any member of your local Rotary Club for information! |
