Since 1965, the Jefferson Township Rotary Club has been serving the community of Jefferson. Through the dedication of its members, the J.T.R.C. has been there to help make Jefferson a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Year after year, The Rotary Club of Jefferson plays a large role in the betterment of the community of Jefferson Township.
The Rotary club has been responsible for the following; construction of a Picnic Pavillion at Lakeside Field in Jefferson Township, donations of equipment to the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Ambulance and Rescue Squads to make Jefferson a safer place, annual scholarships to local students to make their dream of college possible, Christmas parties for specially selected children of the township, donations to the community organizations for the projects around town, providing relief to ailing members of the community, participation in Jefferson Township's Festivals and parades, and many other community causes and projects.
Our club meets every Wednesday at 12:15 PM at Sonny's on the Lake, Moquis Trail, Oak Ridge, NJ, 07438. Feel free to stop by for lunch to meet new people, share experiences and fellowship and maybe become a part of the largest service organization in the world. All of this, to build goodwill and better friendships while serving the community. Presently Rotary is located in 168 countriies with over 1.2 million members worldwide.
